A leading international Leuven-based venture capital firm backing bold entrepreneurs in hardware and semiconductor innovation. What the job involves

You'll be embedded in a lean, senior investment team, working across the full lifecycle of a deal from first contact to close. That means tracking emerging companies before they become obvious, running the commercial and technical side of due diligence, synthesising market intelligence into investment theses, and representing the fund at industry events where relationships are made.

You won't be siloed. You'll see everything and be expected to have a view on it.

• You actively scout, analyse, and track the most promising start-ups and technologies worldwide
• You work side by side with Partners and Principals in all aspects of due diligence, from market to finance to technical deep-dives and team analysis
• You explore new frontiers by delivering sharp sector insights and actionable market intelligence
• You contribute to marketing, conference planning, deal flow monitoring, ESG assessments, audits, financial and Supervisory Board reporting, and process optimization

Who we are looking for

• A postgraduate in physics, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Someone who finds the business logic of deep tech genuinely interesting - not just the science
• Clear, structured thinking and the ability to communicate it well, both in writing and in person
• Someone who builds relationships naturally and takes follow-through seriously
• Fluent English; other European languages welcome
