Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our Trust & Investment Department. The Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing assigned client portfolios and participating in day-to-day operations of the department. Position responsibilities include, and are not limited to, investment research, trading, and client support.
Essential Duties
- Monitor, review, and rebalance client portfolios within set guidelines
- Conduct or participate in client and prospective client meetings
- Perform investment research, specifically equity and fixed income securities, mutual funds, and ETF’s
- Maintain and review investment guidelines, watchlists, compliance procedures
- Support Trust department and provide back-up coverage to the VP/Senior Portfolio Manager as needed
- Assist in the day-to-day functioning of the department
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related education
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an investment environment
- Graduate degree and/or CFA designation is preferred
- Familiarity and understanding of financial accounting software and investment management tools
- Firm grasp of capital market data
- Strong knowledge of fixed income securities, equities, mutual funds, and ETFs
- Familiarity with trading/execution and cash management
- Understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction, attribution analysis and performance measurement
- Familiarity with Trust Administration
- Understanding of fiduciary responsibilities
- Excellent analytical, communication, and computer skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to follow all bank policies and procedures
Physical, Mental, and Visual Requirements
- Ability to work at a desk on a computer for multiple hours per day.
- Ability to read a variety of documents on paper or on the computer.
- Fine motor skills, dexterity, accuracy, and continuous mental and visual attention.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
