Description

Capital Stewardship Partners is seeking a Portfolio Manager to support portfolio implementation, investment research, trading, rebalancing, and tax-aware portfolio management for client accounts. This role partners closely with financial advisors and the investment committee to help deliver disciplined portfolio oversight, thoughtful investment recommendations, and timely reporting for both prospective and existing clients.

Requirements

• Execute trades across client portfolios in accordance with approved investment strategy, client guidelines, and internal procedures.
• Monitor portfolio allocations for asset class drift and implement rebalancing actions as appropriate.
• Review household and account cash balances and coordinate liquidity needs for scheduled and ad hoc client distributions.
• Support tax-aware portfolio management, including tax-loss harvesting and other investment actions informed by tax considerations.
• Participate in investment committee meetings, wholesaler meetings, and internal discussions related to manager selection, market conditions, and portfolio positioning.
• Assist with model construction, model maintenance, and portfolio implementation across equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.
• Research and evaluate new investment opportunities, strategies, and managers across asset classes.
• Help prepare investment proposals, portfolio recommendations, and supporting materials for prospective clients.
• Assist with client reporting, performance monitoring, and recurring investment updates for existing clients.
• Contribute to market commentary and other written investment communications.
• Partner with advisors to develop and implement client investment plans that align with objectives, risk tolerance, liquidity needs, and tax considerations.
• Identify risks and opportunities within client portfolios and communicate observations and recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain awareness of current market conditions, macroeconomic developments, and capital markets trends relevant to portfolio construction and investment decisions.
