The Company:

A leading Private Bank with a focus on servicing and advising ultra high net-worth private clients and is a highly recognised brand in Global Wealth Management.

The Role:

The Portfolio Manager is an integral part of the UK discretionary offering within the Global Private Bank and the role will be primarily managing client discretionary multi asset portfolios whilst also supporting the team in whatever way necessary to ensure clients' needs are met.

The Portfolio Manager will work closely with Relationship Managers within the Private Bank, facing off to Private Clients and will be accountable for the management of portfolios in accordance with the Portfolio Management strategy - to achieve investment objectives agreed with clients. Ensuring that all portfolios are managed in accordance with the client's objectives. Be accountable for Implementation of investment decisions (trade execution) and cash & currency management.

The Portfolio Manager will develop and maintain relationships with Private Banking Relationship Managers to promote knowledge of, and trust in the discretionary proposition with a view to promoting internal referrals of business.

The Portfolio Manager will have good communication for both internal and external investment meetings across the business and with clients.

The Portfolio Manager will have active relationships with client advisors and clients including physical meetings and will coordinate a proactive strategy communication to RM and clients.

The Portfolio Manager will work within the framework of the Company investment process and UK investment process. Work at various levels on various projects to drive improvements in process.

The Portfolio Manager will play an active role in the growth of AUM across a variety of mandates (single asset and multi-asset mandates).

The Portfolio Manager will have regular production of materials and involvement in investment meetings and reviews as requiredand continuous monitoring of securities and restrictions within the portfolios.

The Candidate

5-10 years Portfolio Management experience within Private Banking / Wealth Management

PCIAM or level 6 qualified equivalent (chartered wealth manager or CFA)

Strong client facing experience and presenting an investment narrative.

Ability to explain complicated investment theses in a clear and simple way across a broad client base

A sales mindset and enthusiasm for client interaction
