JOB TITLE: Portfolio Manager – Investment Officer
JOB CATEGORY: Service Advisor - Investments
PRIMARY FUNCTION(S):
Perform research, manage accounts, maintain client contact and conduct review meetings, and participate in new business presentations.
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform equity/fixed research to include sector, industry, and company analysis.
2. Manage accounts to include the setting of investment objectives, and asset allocation guidelines.
3. Conduct client review meetings with Account Administrators.
4. Conduct marketing presentations for new business purposes.
5. Periodically responsible for: (1) assisting in the equity and fixed income trading functions (2) communicating matters relating to the investment functions internally to account administrators (3) assisting in the communication of the investment functions externally to our client base.
6. Able to travel within the TCV footprint with occasional overnight stays as necessary. Driver's License is required.
Requirements
Three to five years of portfolio management experience, with strong verbal and written communications skills, and strong presentation and PC skills. Undergraduate degree, CFA or CFP designation or currently pursuing is required.
Note: The Senior Portfolio Manager level differs from above in the level of judgment and independent decisions.
