• An established and fast-growing asset manager with a unique footprint based in Oman seeks a client-facing head of global equities. You will take over the management of our China and Indian equities funds, soon-to-be-launched regional EM funds, developed market thematic mandates and Shariah-compliant mandates.

You will have at your disposal strong global advisor-managers each fund. Your objective will be to execute a client-facing strategy to increase the fund's visibility and AUMs in coordination with our marketing and distribution teams, while simultaneously forging alliances to launch and seed new funds.

• The Opportunity
As Emerging Markets Equities Fund Manager, you will take ownership of global emerging market equity portfolios, global equity mandates, and sub-portfolios within client accounts. You will be responsible for generating investment ideas, delivering strong risk-adjusted performance, supporting fundraising initiatives, and contributing to the development of new investment products.

Working closely with the Chief Investment Officer and wider investment team, you will have significant influence over investment strategy, client engagement, and product development.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee global emerging market equity funds and discretionary client mandates.
• Develop and implement investment strategies designed to deliver superior long-term performance.
• Execute investment transactions across equity and related financial instruments.
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposures, and market developments.
• Generate high-conviction investment ideas and actionable research insights.
• Collaborate with research analysts, traders, and investment professionals to optimise portfolio outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Liaise with fund administration teams regarding operational and fund administration processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional and high-net-worth clients.
• Lead fundraising and business development initiatives.
• Prepare investor presentations, marketing materials, and performance reports.
• Support the design, launch, and development of new investment products and strategies.
• Continuously enhance investment processes, systems, and technical infrastructure.
• Mentor and develop junior investment professionals within the team.

Candidate Profile
Essential Experience
• Minimum 7 years' experience in fund management, portfolio management, asset management, or a related investment role.
• Demonstrable track record managing public market investment funds.
• Experience managing emerging market equity portfolios.
• Experience across onshore and offshore investment structures.
• Strong understanding of global capital markets, foreign exchange, and related financial instruments.
• Proven ability to make informed investment decisions under pressure.
• Experience engaging directly with institutional clients and investors.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• CFA designation or progress towards CFA qualification is highly desirable.
