Finance Manager | Northern Beaches | Part-Time

The Opportunity
A hands-on role for a commercially minded Finance Manager to own and scale the finance function in a growing business. You'll manage day-to-day finance while building processes, improving systems, and supporting strategic decisions. Clear pathway into senior leadership as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Operations & Cash Flow

• Own AP/AR, invoicing, collections, and supplier payments
• Lead credit control, debtor management, and working capital optimisation
• Implement credit policies and manage financial accuracy

Reporting & Compliance

• Deliver monthly management accounts and reporting packs
• Manage BAS and statutory compliance
• Maintain strong controls and optimise finance systems (Xero)

Commercial Finance

• Oversee commissions, rebates, and incentives
• Provide insights on pricing, margins, and performance
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning

Process & Growth

• Build scalable processes and improve efficiency
• Establish reporting cadence and operational discipline
• Support future finance team growth, including offshore capability

About You

• CA / CPA qualified
• Strong SME finance experience in a hands-on role
• Proven credit control and cash flow management skills
• Commercially sharp, detail-oriented, and process-driven
• Leadership potential with ability to influence stakeholders
