Our client, a global investment firm based in Singapore, is seeking an experienced professional with a strong management consulting background and exposure to private equity investing and portfolio value creation to drive unified alignment across the organization and enhance overall investment performance.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain a high-level perspective on the investment portfolio, activities, and strategy, while contributing to the development of plans and programs to address ongoing organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Support senior management in formulating and communicating key investment strategies and directives
• Drive strategic and analytical projects to evaluate investment performance and refine investment strategy across the portfolio
• Derive key insights from investment and portfolio data to enhance decision-making
• Collaborate with investment and functional teams to shape overall investment strategy and direction
• Provide overall portfolio oversight support, including driving the Portfolio Action Plan
• Establish firm-wide best practices and learning initiatives, critically assessing and enhancing existing investment practices
• Capture learnings across different sector/market teams and public/private market teams to instill best practices
• Initiate and lead projects to enhance investment professionals' effectiveness and competency

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in management consulting, ideally from a top-tier firm
• Proven experience working with private equity clients, including commercial due diligence, portfolio strategy, or value creation initiatives
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities (hands-on experience required)
• Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and performance improvement projects
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders across functions
• Strong business acumen with the ability to think critically and operate at a strategic level

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience advising global private equity funds or portfolio companies
• Exposure to investment strategy, portfolio management, and performance analysis
• Track record of working on cross-border or multi-market projects

• A strategy consultant with strong PE exposure, passionate about influencing investment direction at a portfolio level
• Experienced in bridging strategy, analytics, and execution, with strong financial modelling skills
