Description

The DBS Fund Selection is responsible for identifying and conducting comprehensive due diligence on, and continual monitoring of a curated universe of traditional (Mutual funds) and alternative (Hedge funds) investment solutions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the end-to-end selection and ongoing monitoring of traditional mutual funds and alternative funds.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business units and external asset managers/GPs.
• Deliver investment advisory, communications, and training.
• Provide expert investment advisory as well as championing of managed solutions products to advisors and clients.
• Oversee BAU funds platform maintenance, monitoring recommendations, and model portfolios.
• Support and execute regional funds initiatives and ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, and results-oriented.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in fund selection and due diligence across Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, and/or Private Markets, preferably in private banking.
• CFA charterholder certification or candidate is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis of investment products.
• Team player with the ability to work together with internal and external stakeholders in a collaborative manner.
• Good understanding of banking operations.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) is required.
