- Associate Portfolio Manager
Description
As an Associate PM within First Trust's Custom Wealth Solutions group (www.ftsma.com), you will initially be responsible for supporting our direct indexing portfolio managers in their day-to-day processes. This will initially include portfolio monitoring, responding to client requests, generating transition analyses for prospects and current clients, and potentially supervised trading of client accounts. Following an onboarding period of 1-2 years and passing the series 65 examination or CFA, our Associate PM will then be able trade client accounts without supervision. Over time, a successful Associate PM will contribute to portfolio management decision making, new strategy development, and process improvement. You will work closely with the sales team to analyze client requests and develop new business proposals. You will also work with the operations team on new account onboarding, data management, and performance reporting. Our investment process is team-based and quantitatively driven.
