Description
Business FunctionTechnology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation.
Within T&O, Corporate Real Estate Strategy and Administration (CRESA) manages the bank's property portfolio and workplace services. This role provides financial leadership and business insight for CRESA's operations and strategic occupancy projects.
Responsibilities
Budget Management & Reporting
- Manage departmental, corporate landlord and bankwide occupancy expenses.
- Investigate variances and identify underlying business drivers.
- Present insights and recommendations to management.
- Review business cases and financial analyses for real estate transactions.
- Assess scenarios and validate assumptions to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with Group and local stakeholders to reinforce financial controls.
- Support finance transformation initiatives and provide financial oversight of strategic occupancy projects.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting or management reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Effective communicator who can engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Sound judgement, robust control mindset and attention to detail.
- Self-driven, adaptable and comfortable taking ownership.
- Experience in real estate, professional service or financial institution is preferred.
- CPA, CFA or an equivalent qualification is an advantage.
This role offers broad exposure to real estate strategy, workplace transformation and senior management decision-making. You will play a key role in managing the financials of the bank's property portfolio.
