Job Description

As an Assistant Finance Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Managing accounting processes, including reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
• Collaborating with internal teams to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
• Providing financial insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements within the financial services industry.
• Supporting audits and addressing queries from auditors and stakeholders.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Finance Manager should have:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• In House Private Equity accounting experience is a must
• Proficiency in financial analysis and the use of accounting software.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
