Description

Our client, an established asset management firm, is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Finance Manager/ Finance Manager to lead and strengthen the company's financial operations. This role is critical in safeguarding financial health, ensuring compliance, and delivering insights that drive sustainable business growth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in financial management, regulatory reporting, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial policies, enhancing internal controls and compliance processes.
• Oversee financial accounting, prepare accurate financial statements, and conduct regular analyses to support management decision-making.
• Prepare FRR reports required by the SFC, along with other regulatory submissions.
• Manage company funds, create fund allocation plans, and provide timely recommendations and alerts to optimize liquidity and payments.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, monitor performance against budget, analyze variances, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Deliver clear and timely financial reports to shareholders, explaining key insights when required.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and related matters.
• Ensure accurate tax planning, processing, and compliance with relevant regulations, including timely declarations and payments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
• At least 5 years of relevant experience. Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, etc.) are required; asset management industry experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong financial, tax, and regulatory frameworks, with hands-on experience in independent accounting and tax work.
• Proficiency in preparing FRR reports and familiarity with SFC regulations.
• Skilled in financial software (e.g., Yonyou) and advanced Excel functions for data analysis.
• Highly detail-oriented, responsible, and ethical; able to work diligently under pressure.
• Fluent in both Chinese and English, with excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
