Description

As a key member of the Investment Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving data‑driven decision‑making across global markets. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex macroeconomic and financial datasets to support asset allocation, portfolio construction, and strategic investment discussions. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a highly analytical environment and is eager to contribute directly to the investment process across multiple asset classes.

Responsibilities:

1. Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets covering macroeconomic indicators, market performance, and multi-asset investment portfolios.
2. Monitor and interpret global macroeconomic trends (GDP, inflation, interest rates, trade balances, etc.) and assess their implications for investment strategies.
3. Support portfolio managers with analytical insights to guide portfolio construction, risk assessment, and market outlook.
4. Track portfolio performance and evaluate key risk indicators across equities, fixed income, private markets, and alternative asset classes.
5. Prepare regular market updates, dashboards, and analytical reports for internal investment committees and discussions.
6. Collaborate closely with investment professionals to integrate macroeconomic and market data into research models and valuation analyses.
7. Maintain high data accuracy through rigorous validation, quality checks, and documentation.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, or related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
2. Strong expertise in macroeconomic and market analysis, including familiarity with monetary policy and global financial dynamics.
3. Proficiency in Python or VBA for data analysis; experience using SQL to handle large datasets.
4. Familiarity with financial platforms such as Bloomberg and FactSet.
5. Solid understanding of probability, statistics, and investment products.
6. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin/Cantonese
