Description

Main tasks

• Risk monitoring of both UCITS and alternative funds
• Maintenance of the Risk systems (position keeping, performance monitoring, ex-ante risk, liquidity, etc) for UCITS and alternative funds (including valuation of target funds, analysis of direct alternative investments, cash flow monitoring)
• Python System maintenance and development
• Preparation of periodical and ad-hoc reports for the Management Committee and external counterparties (including regulatory reporting to authorities, reports to investors, and executive reports)
• Monitoring of investment compliance limits on the portfolios, with analysis of active and passive breaches, relationship with portfolio managers and monitoring of corrective actions
• Monitoring and reporting on the ESG profile of the portfolios
• Due diligence activities
• EMIR reporting controls

The profile must be familiar with the main risk indicators of traditional strategies (leverage, Value-at-Risk, liquidity risk, counterparty risk, etc.) and of alternatives, have advanced knowledge of the Python language, as well as the attitudes required to meet deadlines, interact with management and portfolio managers, and collect and present risk-related information effectively.

Work experience and educational background requirements

• A bachelor's degree in economics finance is highly regarded
• Relevant work experience in the asset management industry 1-2 years (ManCo, custodian banks, portfolio managers, advisors, auditors)
