Job Title: Head of Finance – Nigeria

Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Hybrid)

We are a fast-growing, accelerator-backed startup ecosystem in Nigeria, supported by top-tier VCs and global accelerators. We’re looking for a strategic finance leader to scale operations, manage investor relations, and guide financial growth from Seed to Series A.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Manage investor relations and support fundraising activities.
Implement financial policies, processes, and internal controls.
Drive strategic financial planning to support growth objectives.
Mentor and manage finance team members as the company scales.
Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.

Requirements

Requirements:

Proven experience as Finance Lead, Head of Finance, or CFO in Nigerian startups that went through Y Combinator, Techstars, or 500 Global.
Track record of successfully navigating Seed to Series A funding rounds.
Strong knowledge of financial planning, cash flow management, and reporting.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with fundraising, investor decks, and financial modeling.

Preferred:

Experience in tech or fintech startups.
Familiarity with VC-backed growth-stage financial operations.
