About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager with 3-5 years of Big 4 audit experience and a strong focus on financial reporting analysis and financial package preparation. The ideal candidate will have exceptional technical accounting skills and the ability to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful reports to support decision-making in the crypto industry.

What You'll Be Doing

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and packages for management and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting packages, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management on key drivers of financial performance.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the timely consolidation of financial data from multiple entities.
• Manage and oversee financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Conduct detailed financial statement reviews to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

Audit & Compliance

• Liaise with external auditors to manage the audit process and address audit queries efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and analyse the GAAP difference if necessary.
• Develop and implement internal controls to support compliance and mitigate financial risks.
• Assist in preparing audit-ready documentation and schedules.

Accounting Operations

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliation, accounts payable, and receivable.
• Review and ensure accuracy in journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Develop and implement accounting policies tailored to the crypto industry.

What We Look For In You

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA qualification or equivalent experience in a Big 4 audit firm is highly preferred.
• 3-5 years of financial reporting, analysis, and audit experience, preferably within the Financial Institution or Cryptocurrency industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), and internal controls.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, or macros).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin to collaborate with stakeholders in different regions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proactive and strong self-learning ability are essential.
